Sarajevo under siege, 1993. After her husband dies on the front lines, Haska, 28, finds a love letter in her husband's pocket. He's trying to find out what happened. Finally, he decides to leave Sarajevo with his nine-year-old son Denis.

FRANÇOIS LUNEL was born in Paris in 1971. He received his academic education in the field of cinematography at the University of Paris VIII. In 1992, he began working on documentaries. He went to Sarajevo in 1993, during the siege, where he made his first feature film JOURS TRANQUILLES À SARAJEVO, starring Bosnian actors, and in 2002 the film was screened at the Cannes Film Festival. He has taught directing at Fémis and at the Faculty of Nancy II, Marne la Vallée. He published the novel "Keremna" (Riveneuve).
